Bela Strings specializes in weddings- we love love! The Bela Strings experience starts with a simple booking process online. In the months that follow, we’ll meet with you or your wedding planner in person to discuss the details of this important (perhaps the most important) day in your life. Throughout the planning process, you’ll have access to our extensive repertoire. If there’s a song that you've always wanted to hear that’s not in our repertoire, we’ll create a custom arrangement of the song just for you.

Ceremony Music

During the ceremony, we’ll perform as your guests are being seated to help set the tone of the ceremony. Once you’re ready to walk down the aisle, we often perform for your wedding party (bridesmaids, flower girl, ring bearer). Next, we ask the bride to choose a really special song (don’t worry we’ll have lots of suggestions if you’re not sure!) to walk down the aisle to. During the signing, we typically select a reflective song to play while you and your wedding party are taking care of business and posing for photographs! Finally, the exit- we like to play something upbeat while your friends and family are cheering you on as you walk down the aisle for the first time as a married couple!

Cocktail Hour

Bela Strings offers a diverse repertoire and the cocktail hour is a great chance to change up the atmosphere. Many of clients want to hear light jazz to set the tone for their elegant cocktail hour, while others are interested in an upbeat kitchen party atmosphere. Either way, we have you covered!

dinner Reception

We love performing background music while you relax with your friends and family over a delicious meal. Many of our clients choose a more laid back vibe so that you can have some down time before you dance the night away- think light jazz with slower contemporary ballads.
